Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of Northkey (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you're using Northkey on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

1. The Service

Northkey provides independent professionals with a branded page, tools to draft and publish social media posts (with your review and approval before anything goes live), and automated newsletter tools. Some features are specific to certain professions and may not be available to every account.

2. Your account

3. Subscriptions and billing

4. Connected third-party accounts

Northkey lets you connect Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Telegram accounts to publish content. You control what gets published — nothing goes to Facebook or Instagram without your explicit approval. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms; Northkey isn't responsible for changes they make to their products, APIs, or policies, or for actions they take on your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Northkey to:

6. No professional advice

Northkey is a marketing and productivity tool. AI-drafted content, calculators, and reports are provided to help you work faster, but they are not financial, legal, medical, or real estate advice, and you remain solely responsible for reviewing anything before it reaches a client or the public.

7. Intellectual property

You own the content you create and upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it as needed to operate the Service. We own the Northkey platform itself and its underlying software.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Northkey isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including issues caused by third-party platforms we integrate with.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email.
